ISI Inspection Report
Hale Preparatory School was last inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) in January 2026. The findings were very complimentary, and the school met the standards in all five areas that it was inspected on, namely:
- Leadership and management, and governance
- Quality of education
- Pupils’ physical and mental health and emotional well-being.
- Pupil’s social and economic education and contribution to society
- Safeguarding
Unlike in previous years, the Independent Schools Inspectorate team no longer awards categories when inspecting. Many incredibly positive comments, however, were made, a particularly pleasing one being: “The staff create a caring and nurturing environment that supports effective learning and underpins the school's values. They place pupils' wellbeing at the centre of their work, offering a broad curriculum and a range of enrichment opportunities. Pupils are supported by a pastoral system that fosters kindness, confidence and resilience. This enables pupils to thrive academically, personally and socially.”
