Year 5 Drama
To conclude their drama unit on Shakespeare, Year 5 presented their Caliban designs this week. Caliban, the subhuman son of the sea witch Sycorax, is a key character in William Shakespeare's The Tempest. They explained their costume designs, including material and colour choices, demonstrated how their actors would need to walk and speak to bring Caliban to life, and explained how they had considered his upbringing and situation when making their directorial choices. Fantastic work, Year 5!
