Happy Birthday, Sir David Attenborough!

Today is Sir David Attenborough’s 100^th birthday, and Reception children have been planning a special day to celebrate this.  First of all, the children made him some birthday cards, which were sent to him.  The children were all asked to bring an animal mask to school today – either homemade or bought – as one of their current topics is ‘Animals and their Habitats’, and who knows more about this topic than Sir David!  The array of masks was quite spectacular, as you can see below!  The children have played animal party games and had an animal-themed picnic.  We hope Sir David has enjoyed celebrating his day as much as we have!
