Anglo-Saxon Workshop

Year 4 will participate in an Anglo-Saxon workshop at school on Friday 13th October. This workshop will give the children a rounded view of who the Anglo-Saxons were, where they came from, and the important legacy they have left behind.

The children will become Anglo-Saxons for the day, discovering how Anglo-Saxons lived, worked and travelled. They will be able to look at replica artefacts from daily life, such as tools and clothing. They will participate in activities based around law and order, crafts and skills, and games and entertainment.

To make the children feel like they are Anglo-Saxon, we would like them to come to school in a home-made costume. This will really help to enthuse the children for the day.
