Vets Club will be an exciting club for children interested in animals, their health and care. Initially, we will look at the anatomy of household pets, examine and listen to heart rates and dietary requirements, etc. We will develop fact files on each animal group and build scientific knowledge over the year. Our school dog, Miss Beryl, will be a willing participant. We will also visit local veterinary surgeries, look at the operating and recovery suites and talk to professionals about their work.
