Speech and drama aim to teach the children a love of language and literature whilst promoting oral communication and confidence building through LAMDA examinations. These examinations are at all levels and can be taken in Verse and Prose, Reading for Performance and Acting. The children work towards one of these examinations, taken in the spring or summer term. The lessons are run by Mrs Nuala Thomson, who has been providing the lessons at Hale Prep School for over 20 years.
