Teeth!
In connection with our science topic on teeth, Year 4 was delighted to welcome Mrs Parker-Tones to their lesson on Monday. Not only did she bring in models of different types of teeth for the children to investigate, but she also gave them special tools to practise root canal surgery! She talked about how best to look after your teeth, and two volunteers kindly showed how to use disclosing tablets to reveal plaque in your mouth. A big thank you to Mrs Parker-Tones for giving up her afternoon to share her knowledge of dentistry and how best to look after our smiles.
