Metamorphosis!
Today, 30 tiny caterpillars arrived in the post. Over the next few weeks, we will enjoy watching their progress from caterpillars through metamorphosis into painted lady butterflies.
During this incredible period of growth, they will shed their exoskeletons four times and grow more than ten times their original size.
We can’t wait to observe these changes.
